Ana Ivanovic continued her recent resurgence by beating Alisa Kleybanova to win the Commonwealth Bank Tournament of Champions in Bali.

Ivanovic, the former world number one from Serbia, beat her Russian opponent 6-2 7-6 (7-5) to land her tenth title.

Ivanovic ended a two-year run without a title in Austria three weeks ago.

"It's great to win another title, I'm thrilled and it's a big step for me," the 23-year-old said. "It's a good way to go into next season."

The victory ensured Ivanovic, who slipped to 65th in the rankings in July, will return to the top 20 on Monday.

"The second set came down to mental strength and just believing in myself," she added. "I managed to stay calm so I was happy to close out the match."
