Ana Ivanovic has won the Linz title with a 6-1, 6-2 defeat of Patty Schnyder in the final. It is the former No.1's first title since her victory in Linz two years ago and her first final since Indian Wells last year."I have been waiting so long for this and I worked hard to achieve it," she said.
Ivanovic did not originally plan to play the event, taking a wildcard following Serena Williams' sudden withdrawal.
