Russia's Maria Sharapova warmed up for the French Open with a comfortable 7-5 6-1 win over Kristina Barrois in the final of the Strasbourg International.
Sharapova, 23, was 4-2 down in the first set but won seven successive games after a chat with her coach.
The world number 13 broke her German opponent, ranked 64 places lower, twice in the second set to secure victory.
Sharapova, seeded 12th for Roland Garros, faces qualifier Ksenia Pervak in the first round in Paris.
"If you asked me before the tournament if I'd come back again, I would've said I'd have to win this year," she said.
"I guess that's a sign I need to come back.
"I'm looking forward to Roland Garros. It's obviously the most challenging of the Grand Slams for me, but I've done well there before," added Sharapova, who reached the semi-finals in 2007 and quarter-finals last year.
Meanwhile, Romania's Alexandra Dulgheru successfully defended her Warsaw Open title with a 6-3 6-4 victory over China's number five seed Zheng Jie.
The 20-year-old, who became the first player ranked outside the top 200 to win a premier title when she won in Poland last year, beat two other seeds en route to her win.
"I feel great, this is my town, I don't know what's so special about these courts, but I just play my best tennis here," Dulgheru said.
