Sania Mirza will make her tennis comeback with the $600,000 Aegon Classic tennis in Birmingham. The Indian tennis ace who recently married cricketer Shoaib Malik has been out of court after Dubai Open in February. She had complained of wrist pain during the game and was advised a six-week rest.
Sania wrote in her twitter account on Thursday,"For everyone asking, my next tournament is in Birmingham, followed by Wimbledon next month.”
The grass court tournament at Birmingham begins on June 7. Sania had reached the semifinals of the event last year. The 92nd ranked Sania started her practice sessions recently at her hometown in Hyderabad's Lal Bahadur stadium along with Malik.
