Family Culture in India

Families in India are always about delight and sharing. The family culture in India is all about love and tolerance. An Indian girl weds into a family and change herself according to the rituals of that family, custom and cooking. We can see a lot of love marriages in India which is also being accepted by the elders in the family. Society with religious attitude and factions is also followed by most or the families as many families believe in a particular Guru or saint who always guide them in their holy path. Families are also getting nuclear owing to free lifestyle favorite and also the model where both husband and wife is working and have challenging careers. This is quite common in families are independent in their education and yet love and respect the elders who exist in separately.

The earlier homes are seems together in very big families where one can actually see three or four generations put up together. In some families we can observe a different concept i.e. the groom resides in the house of the bride or also follows a tradition as per the bride's relatives. It is also a ritual in some families that the wife changes her maiden name. Indian families are very willing to help and prepared to accept change. There is a function for gifting and looking for the blessings of elders. It is significant to respect and hold certain family traditions which are unique in terms of cookery, rituals and attitude. Families give a lot of importance to lighting in the door steps and also each person has a habit of doing the pooja in his own way.

Custom in India is about values that exceed down generations routinely. These are hereditary behavior and simplicity is the main component. Ancient civilization believed in a lot of dogmas and ceremony that can be termed as false beliefs and Indians are a bright there is lot to traverse these paths and change the social requirements. Indians are very highly flexible in the sense they would like to imbibe the changes dictated by western power.

It is very usual to respect elders and touch their feet so as to seek their blessings. Occasions or festivals demand a lot of contribution in terms of drawing and an array of delicious treats made in the authentic variety as per the caste and religion. Hindu practices are a lot about song and dance and each family has a way to adjust to these arrangements. It is a ritual to pray to the Goddess Saraswathi to achieve success. Similarly business people always persist on drawing the Swastika which symbols prosperity and worship the Goddess of wealth.

With the arrival of technology and women liberation there is a trend to mingle free with the western models of dress, belief, work and also get into a worldly concept. But one can feel a distinct Indians and most of our people who reside abroad miss their homeland. Peoples all over the world are known for Indian hospitality and high level of tolerance. Their adjustment power is high and hence they are able to scale heights in the international ground. Putting oneself on the international map, Indians are seeking new view of communicating their beliefs and tradition.
